I think the group is a mix between bananarama and jem. the bananarama group is one of the most famous of the 80s, and they were formed in 1981, the jems which have a very similar style to dreamland and are produced by a collaboration between Hasbro and Sunbow in 1985. so I think it is a mix between them. or it could just be a stereotype group based on the 80s. i tried to look for the album cover that is seen when sunny and minty meet for the first time, because it reminds me of some album cover, but i couldn’t find anything. zooming in on the frame where you see the back of the cd, you can see that this is the first disc and it has 6 songs, if it could be useful for someone who would like to try to find the origin of the citation on the cd.

Me & My Delusions
It’s obvious that the Dreamland are supposed to be Bananarama.
But who are Electric Blue supposed to represent? My first thoughts were the Electric Light Orchestra or the Blue Öyster Cult based on their name (Electric Blue) and their genre (Rock). Speaking of which I’ve realized that the Blue Öyster Cult would probably be one of Zipp’s favorite bands.
