  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

I liked George the Greater. To an extent it was visceral. I liked what I saw on television. I also think he handled the Gulf War better than any other person who might have been president of the United States at the time. :)

George the Lesser inherited peace and prosperity from Bill Clinton and bequeathed Barack Obama with two expensive wars he could not win, and the worst economic decline since the Great Depression. :(

    Fool.

George the Lesser inherited the CRA just starting into full swing, redlining, Fannie Mae already beginning its death spiral, al Qaeda rising, and the FIRST World Trade Center bombing (which failed to take down one of the towers only by the grace of Lady Luck). Not to mention a Dot Com Bubble that was already bursting. (There's your "prosperity.")

George W. Bush got the Eye of the Hurricane from Bill Clinton.

I've told you. History does not slice conveniently into four year increments.

George the Lesser started two expensive wars he could not win. The war in Iraq was unnecessary. While doing that he cut taxes, especially for the rich. That was bad for the economy.

In addition, George the Lesser had seven months to prevent 9/11, and at least one warning.

During Bill Clinton's last full month in office the unemployment rate was 3.9%.

George the Lesser's first of two recessions did not begin until March 2001.

In a Rasmussen poll released Thursday, 6-30-2016, Trump held a 4-point lead over presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. Of the 1,000 likely voters surveyed, the presumptive Republican nominee won over 43% of support, compared with Clinton's 39%.

Are you putting your money on Trump?

The story of the 2016 election will hang on this statement:

The poll found a similar gender divide as previous surveys: Clinton wins among women, 50% to 33%, while Trump has the advantage with men, 47% to 34%. -- He is also ahead by the same margin with white voters, while Clinton wins African-American voters, 91% to 1%, and Hispanic voters, 50% to 33%.

If Clinton wins you will be dead broke in 4 years. You'll be dumpster diving. Write this down and if she pulls it off and your rummaging around in that stinking dumpster, remember I told you so. You can kiss your little business goodbye. No need to post some stupid comment, we'll just wait and see.

This was sent to my e-mail address:

Rasmussen Reports Thursday, June 30, 2016

The tables have turned in this week’s White House Watch. After trailing Hillary Clinton by five points for the prior two weeks, Donald Trump has now taken a four-point lead.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds Trump with 43% of the vote, while Clinton earns 39%.

Even as other pollsters — Gallup, Fox News, CBS News/New York Times, Washington Post/ABC News — have shown the presidential race tilting toward President Obama in recent days, Romney aides and allied Republicans proudly tout the newest Rasmussen numbers, which show their guy actually holding a very small lead: 47 percent to 45 percent...

In a memo on Friday, the Republican National Committee argued that, even as other pollsters have shown Obama evening the score on who is better able to manage the economy, Rasmussen shows Romney leading on that measure.

Unless Obama has managed to suspend the 22nd amendment to the constitution and keep it a secret he isn't a Presidential candidate.
      Or was that a slip?

............... oh wait. Dog has transported himself back to 2012, his happy place.

On Tuesday, polls conducted by the firm Rasmussen Reports — which released more than 100 surveys in the final three weeks of the campaign, including some commissioned under a subsidiary on behalf of Fox News — badly missed the margin in many states, and also exhibited a considerable bias toward Republican candidates.

Other polling firms, like SurveyUSA and Quinnipiac University, produced more reliable results in Senate and gubernatorial races. A firm that conducts surveys by Internet, YouGov, also performed relatively well.

Rasmussen is always the "so there!" poll that conservative trot out when their guy is behind in all the other polls. No one talks about Rasmussen after the election.

You are free, white, and over 21, so you can vote as you please, but you didn't answer the question. If I wanted to know which way you intended to vote, that's hardly a mystery.

You could get pretty long odds on Trump. Right now, the Vegas line for Trump is 12 to 1, and even for Hillary. The smart bet would have been to take a 100 to 1 bet that Trump would be the nominee, back when the race started.

I've asked quite a few people about this, but none wanted to bet on Trump unless they were spotted at least 100 electoral votes. Nobody is betting on Trump to win.

    It's interesting.
You blame Bush for 9/11 and all the tragedy that followed, even though the events leading up to 9/11 happened on Clinton's watch.
On the other hand you find no fault with Roosevelt for WWII, even though the conditions that led up to WWII happened on his watch as well........

I always thought he would win the nomination. It was predictable as hot weather in the summer. The GOP's political strategy for the past 20 years has been on this path without swerving. It's brought them to Trump's doorstep like an abandoned baby.

What can you do when the GOP's post election analysis of the McCain and Romney losses were, "They lost because they weren't conservative enough." Jeb Bush probably could have beat Hillary, if they ran head to head, but this would have required Jeb to piss all over his brother's foreign policy performance. He couldn't do that and win the nomination. Now, we'll never know.
