Celestia’s first sun-raising was 1,111 years before S8, based on her 1’s anniversary
The Last Problem is stated to be 20 years in the future
And Celestia was already an adult or middle-aged mare when she arrived in Equestria. Around 40-60 as an estimate.
So by the time G4 was over, Celestia would have been around 1200 years old
Also, I read that Celestia was over 10’000 years, but I could find no source for this.
Either way, if Opaline is indeed older, this would present a MAJOR problem for Sunny, as Opaline would have CENTURIES of experience and knowledge over her. I’m eager to see how this plays out

Oh, she is older than most G4 characters in G5. Even older than Celestia, Luna, Cadance, and Twilight since, you know, they are all dead. They can no longer age and Opaline is immortal.
