Cassandra had lived in isolation above the clouds, taught in the old ways to fear the unicorns & earth ponies living below, her head filled with fears of them plucking her wings & chasing her like rabid animals.
It was on a regular day when a blast of rainbow light blew a hole in the sky below, the sight & sound was amazingly terrifying indeed, yet it was what Cassandra saw below the clouds that puzzled her…

But how was this possible? For decades, she’d been taught the ponies below were complete savages, living an extremely sheltered life, convinced by her elders to seldom stray far from home.
The day Cassandra herself ventured down to the earth, her eyes were truly opened & the small critters sensed no danger in the meek mare that descended from above.
Just how much had she been lied to all these years??
