I don’t know about that university thing, but if they manage to pull that ploy off and go that deep into Twilight’s self-discovery in the show, I will be very, VERY impressed with Hasbro. :)
I know its hard to hope for after the horrendously tacky castle they gave her in the finale, but I would love for Season 5’s premier to be her true character evolution episode, where she starts to try to think for herself. She has her own path to follow alongside her friends as equals, and I REALLY hope Twilight chooses her friends over Celestia.

I support the idea of Princess Twiligth but I want to know if it turns out that all this “discomfort” Twiligth had with being a princess was all leading up to a climax in season five where Twiligth loses her princesshood somehow but retins her happiness because she still has her friends and gets a new job has the head of Celestias university or something. Showing that the whole ascension things was a brillant ploy by the writers to showcase that following the expected footsteps of even a trusted peer does not have to be the only way to success or something Basically would you consider TWiligth willingly renouncing her princesshood due to its unexpected responabiltys and quirks and showcasing in a more complete way a moral lesson about success as a good thing making the whole ascension and essentially fourth season worth it?

Well at least they didn’t focus the entire season around her and gave each character to shine. Plus a new theory on season 5.

That’s generalization, and very weak generalization at that. Many, MANY people have given very specific and understandable reasons why the EXECUTION of Twilight both becoming and being a princess was done extremley poorly in the show. Of course there are going to be your Kwark’s and some other people who say they hate the change in 3 sentences or less with no solid argument, but that’s hardly the majority anymore.
Personally, I enjoy well written changes in the status quo. Twilight’s princess arc was not one in the least. The last 4 finale/premier’s have followed almost the exact same Twi-centric formula that is so terribly predictible.

>Celestia assures her she’s super important and in the meantime something bad happens
>All 7 assemble to help, but either Celestia or a dumb potion tell Twilight she’s the only one important enough to do anything

Heck, the only well written Princess Twilight scene I can think of with solid character development was in the IDW comic, where being MADE a princess makes Twilight realize she has her OWN motivations in life outside of Celestia’s expectations, and that she doesn’t see herself as a leader or teacher or anything like a princess cause she relies on her friends equally, and she would rather stay a bookworm wizard then a princess like Celestia wants.

So if its good in your eyes it should be good in everyone’s eyes? That’s rather arrogant. I mean, at least give some examples of why you think Twilight being a princess was a good idea. Cause, heck, not even Twilight HERSELF in most of Trade Ya! or the seating scene in Equestria Games did she think being a princess was a good thing.

i’m so sick of this alicorn twilight drama it’s not her fault she’s an alicorn the fans are just bitching to be honest i like it better then the Unicorn Twilight it’s my option she is still Twilight Sparkle and hell season 4 did a great job

Pikachu never evolving (same thing with Bulbasaur and Squirtle) back in the day always annoyed the HELL out of me, watching as a kid. What the hell, Ash, you’re supposed to become the greatest trainer ever, and you keep your ‘mons in their weak child-forms forever? What’s WRONG with you!?

To be honest, I’d find Pikachu’s evolution to be a godsend. Can’t seem to recall how many times it’s gotten it’s ass kicked by stronger opponents.
