The character’s aren’t suffering for the sake of suffering, but there’s valid reason and the expected and logical response matches the problem. And unlike your average MLP episode, it’s grimdark theme subverts expectations with fear and uncertainty, playing out the mystery of the end result. And in the end the choices the characters make is what eventually ties everything all together, and in true MLP fashion, it ends on a good note

I believe I speak for the entire Booru when I say we’re proud of you – not just for the comic itself, but for recovering from your apparent relapse. Even if you’re not quite there yet, each step you make is important to getting out of that rut.

I’ve never experienced anorexia personally, but your writing manages to put its thoughts into plain language and make it relatable to the rest of us. That’s powerful. Seriously, I’m taking notes from this.

I wish the best for you OP

during my time creating this, my own restrictive eating disorder has been spiraling a little bit out of control. It was kind of difficult to write about recovery when I wasn’t doing too good. People around me have been noticing what’s been happening to me, and they’re going to make me do checkups. It’s a little bit scary, but I hope that I managed to help at least one person out there and provide at least a little bit of hope for the future.
