So, Fallout: Equestria. Into the Pippaverse…

When you come across artwork of Littlepip, there’s a 99.99% chance it’s a variant of the Johnjoseco version (center). However, there can be differing appearances of her because, as luck would have it, Littlepip never describes herself physically. The only details we are given is that she’s a unicorn and that she’s below average in stature. Besides that, the author intended for the reader to imagine Littlepip completely from scratch. You know, giving us the whole “FPS, RPG” experience as best a written narrative can provide. For instance, there are scenes where Littlepip is standing in front of a mirror, situations just begging for some detail. But they only ever really boil down to “it’s me, lol”. I always thought that was pretty neat.

Aside from upload date, it’s hard to tell what were original, pre-Johnjoseco works and what were trying to make a neat standout contrary to the norm. It doesn’t quite feel right to call them “alternate designs” if there’s no canonical design to begin with, hm? In any case, I thought it was a little sad that some of these versions got one-off pieces and barely saw the light of day, so I drew this up, had them all interact a little. Thank goodness Derpibooru has a decent dating and tagging system (looking at you, Deviantart), or I wouldn’t have been able to find any of these (Prior to searching, I was only ever aware of the Twilight-purple one; an oldie but a goodie). In some alternate universe, one of these other Littlepips might just be the standard wastelander horse stereotype.

TL;DR: Littlepip is a Time Lord. Sue me, Spiderman.
