Since stallions aren’t cute, and he’s cute when he cosplays, that means he’s not actually crossdressing but cosplaying as a mare. Check-mate atheists :P
@koschyy
Wouldn’t know. I don’t even know who that is. But, the original Resident Evil taught me to always, ALWAYS, be the female character, so I guess that’s very tentatively a form of crossplay :P
@That big juicy apple
He has MANY excuses. The characters he wants to cosplay as are female, dresses are more challenging to make, the materials he gets his hooves on to make clothes from are unsuitable to make stallion’s clothing from, female cosplays are more popular in Equestria, etc. The simple explanation of “Maybe you just like crossdressing” will get him all flustered XD
@WanderingHolyKnight
My assumption was that Dark Link was unaffiliated with Ganon or Morpha, and that room itself was either a trap created to protect the Longshot or a challenge to prove yourself worthy of it :D
@Badumsquish
Fair enough, regarding the clones, both mirror and mean, as well as the changelings.
Although, with how you spin the dark clone here, I’m getting the interpretation they are meant to challenge the adventurer,maybe get them to grow past/accept part of themselves that’s buried deep within. Maybe they represent the flaws of the adventurer, but not truly malevolent.
@Background Pony #CB54
He goes on adventures to gather up stuff for his crossdressing COSPLAYING, and dresses as adventurers or heroes when he does it. He ended up in that room, and that room has a dark clone waiting for every single person who goes in. He won’t have to fight it; it will just make him face himself in his own way. Link had to fight his because, as a warrior, facing himself meant fighting :P
If you’re wondering how he got into that temple at the bottom of a lake, well, he can hold his breath a really long time :3
@WanderingHolyKnight
The concept has to compete with “mean” clones, Mirror Pool clones, and changelings in disguise I suppose XD
@Peternators
It’s a possibility. After all, I imagine a lot of ponies don’t actually know what Somnambula looked like and might assume the statue of her was embellished (or never saw it either). :P
