“It doesnt matter the genre.
It doesnt matter if its a blockbuster or low budget.
It doesnt matter if its good or bad.
It doesnt matter whos in it.
If you have a passion and love for the movie or movies you decide to watch, then you will be carrying that spirit, that love for film that Roger Ebert had and that he left in every one of us. He loved movies. As a fellow movie lover and reviewer, that meant a lot to me.
I will be celebrating his memory with two of his favorite movies, one of which is also mine.”

I didn’t know he passed until I read this.
A sad moment indeed D;
I think you´re right.
Guess he was only famous to those who cared about movie reviews then.
Oh Really? I don´t live in America, but so many Sites maked tributs to him, so I thought he was famous.
Born, raised, and still living in the USA and this whole “he died” thing is the first time I have heard of him.
He was a famous american Movie Critic.
Well he is ONLY famous in America.
I got to know him, thanks to Doug Walker a.k.a Nostalgia Critic.
