Wow, did this lantern not have the confidence in Izzy and Zipp making their own stable flying machine? I mean that lantern pretty much said “look dumbshits, I’m gonna save you a lot of trouble here.”

In that case, that was basically taking cuttings from the previous Tree of Harmony and using their friendship as fertilizer. Something similar here, except the lantern resonates strongly with friendship power between being the housing for the Earth Pony Crystal for who knows how long plus the sentimental connection to Argyle.

So is this confirmation that the Brighthouse was made similarly with the Crystals?
And considering that the lantern did it by itself suggests it’s sentient so is it Harmony in a new form? or remnants of Twilight? or some odd mixture?
Or I guess it could just been reacting to the magic of their friendship similar to how Crystals did in MyM.
