Well then...

“Alright…but first you need to get stronger before beginning your grand RPG quest. Practice using your sword and skills on some nearby monsters. I recommend you start by fighting some large low level rats and slimes outside of town southeast of here. Come see me when you beat a few each and I’ll give you some better gear.”

Quest: Kill 3 large rats and 3 slimes then report it back to Benn.
Reward: 50 exp and 2 potions.

On a serious note I love the classic RPG animation done here with the status UI.
