Who says Spike is straight? He can easily be bisexual.
Really? In my experience, it’s the opposite. Aside from nsfw material, I never saw gay Spike more than 1 or 2 times, this is actually one of the reasons I ship them. But in the end, I’m far more guilty of doing what you said with Rumble.
Also, Spike may not be the deepest character in the series, but I think his characterization goes a bit beyond being straight.
