I mean, you’re factually wrong on a couple fronts:
  1. The “bedroom eyes” thing is a meme that dates back to the earliest days of the fandom, and with few exceptions, they are just mid-blink frames (not animation errors, but also not anybody sneaking anything past the censors)
  2. Look up the tags “My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale” and “animation error” together - a recurring one is them getting the color of Queen Haven’s crown wrong. It should be purple, but sometimes it’s light blue like it was when it was actually the Pegasus crystal; and then, in Zipp’s Flight School, it should be light blue (since it’s a flashback to Zipp’s foalhood) but it’s purple there. Then there are some funny one-off ones, such as that mini-Pipp behind Izzy in a quick shot of Maretime Bay Day 2.0.

The ‘Bedroom eyes’ I mentioned in my last comment wasn’t an animation error. Somebody at Hasbro Studios snuck it past the TV censors and they didn’t even notice it because as I said before it only happened for a few seconds and then it’s gone. ‘Tell Your Tale’ is a five minute cartoon after all. For the most part.

Speaking of eyes in Tell Your Tale, I’m just glad they stopped having the eye shine fixed in one place, since whenever the ponies’ eyes were done in a way that the eye shine wasn’t visible, they looked creepy and soulless.

I mean, TYT has at least one animation error - in a shot in episode 32, they forgot Jazz’s ears (which was funny as it was a constant throughout Make Your Mark)

Ah, so you’re talking about animation errors. Yeah, ‘Tell Your Tale’ doesn’t have any of that. It’s rare for 5-mintue cartoon shorts to have animation errors in them since they’re so short that it would be impossible for any animator to make animating mistakes with it.
That’s why fim has many animation errors and ‘Tell Your Tale’ doesn’t.
