If you ever visit the USA during than, I don’t see why you couldn’t. You may get some weird looks (people expect kids to trick-o-treat, and teens/adults to just party), but not much other than that to my knowledge.
as a non-American who got to try it (albeit when i was probably a bit to old) you aren’t missing much, however some places do amazing Halloween theme parties, that can be great fun when everyone is dressed up, both for kids and adults.
Yeah… French here, ever since i was a kid, i wanted to go Trick or treating, i had seen how the US did it in a movie.
