That would only help if one already knew what ‘zalgo’ was. While one could censor it after the first time seeing it, there ate likely other things that fall under the same ‘creepy’ tag that would also need censoring in the future, and censoring that one specifically wouldn’t help there.
In principle, I agree that images ought to be well-tagged upon upload.
Specific stuff like fetishes, psychedelic and seizure-inducing imagery, and creepy/grotesque stuff needs to be tagged when originally posted, as that time is the most seen the image will be and a lot of people, including myself, don’t like to view those images. A lot of us have also spoilered/hid those tags so we don’t have to see these, and having stuff that you’ve specifically blocked popping up on the front page can be rather irritating to deal with.
