Not really. Did Chrysalis even care about her subjects? Because it becomes apparent that she was deliberately starving them just so she could have an army to control. If she really cared about her subjects she wouldn’t have abandoned them after losing her power. Even during her second plan she still tried to harm Thorax by draining his love (possibly to scare the changelings into submission?), and unlike Luna she never redeemed herself and it’s made clear that she is beyond redemption (even moreso than Tirek and Cozy Glow).

All Luna did was betray her own sister and tried to create an eternal night, but no ponies were harmed. She doesn’t even try to kill the mane six but just tests them so they can use the elements of harmony, as if she wanted them to defeat her, and didn’t Lauren Faust confirm that Celestia released Nightmare Moon? The whole thing was staged. Maybe if it was confirmed that ponies were harmed or died during the eternal night she would have been almost as bad as Chrysalis (who tried to rip off the wings of a baby dragon), but what she did was nothing compared to her, King Sombra, The Storm King, Tirek, Cozy Glow, or even Starlight.

And Chrysalis protecting the log just showed how insane she became after losing her hive. The log isn’t even alive anymore.

Speaking of clones. Despite being betrayed by the Twilight clone, Chrysalis somehow kept the purple log. Moreover, she communicated with him and even protected him from Tirek.

Also, Luna is a Princess, and formerly the co-ruler of Equestria. Any claim by Chrysalis of being above petty things like therapy because she’s a queen isn’t going to fly with her.

Do not forget about the mane six clones. She created them to serve her and only attacked them when they attacked first. Also with “Grogar” who kept treating her like crap. She never betrays anyone until they are the ones who mistreat her.

but if you look objectively:
Luna technically betrayed her own sister and twice tried to arrange a global catastrophe.
Chrysalis, during her reign, acted in the interests of changelings at the expense of other races. Her second takeover attempt is quite successful, and were it not for Thorax’s intervention, her plan puts the changeling people in a dominant position. The enemy country is under their control and the resource “love” they need can be freely extracted from the captured nation. Even after Chrysalis lost her power, she focused all her hatred solely on Starlight, almost forgetting about Thorax.

There has never been a single point in canon where Chrysalis was the first to instigate the harm of at least one changeling.

So Tirek is going with Twilight then? That’s gonna be the real awkward pairing.

We have the prison on the moon for 1000 of years and the other side is proson in stone for few months or years I think.

This is all an elaborate setup for Twilight to pair up her preferred ships.

She also tried to send them to another dimension. Yeah she’s a monster but compared to Chrysalis she’s a saint. Come to think about it, even Tirek and Cozy Glow aren’t that bad compared to Chrysalis.

Luna doesn’t seem thrilled to work with Chryssie too.

One endangered a nation in an act of war, the other betrayed and nearly destroyed her own people, and if physics has any bearing the entire planet by tidal locking it.

Redeemed or not the fact people so readily accepted Luna being handed her crown on a silver platter after being redeemed is the most unbelievable part of her in the show.

Well, considering she wasn’t in the First Changelling Invasion, I think she is the one who carries less anger at you. Plus, it’s something to do during her retirement.

Hmmmm in a way, this does make sense. Luna was evil at one point, and Chrysalis has only turned to good, albeit reluctantly. Luna and Chrysalis are kindred spirits in that they both were evil, but now want to do better and be good. Luna can be one to relate to Chrysalis about the struggles since she herself knows some ponies still possibly fear her, and the Nightmare Night incident with all of Ponyville afraid of her was something that hit close to home.

Tirek is one that I have a hard time seeing who he can be paired with.

Can’t wait for all this to be an elaborate scheme by the Mean 3 to fake co-operation and so buy more time to plan some evil deeds, exploiting their newly gained trust.

Interesting choice. But not surprisingly, Chrissy is going to be a little more difficult to work with than Cozy.

Maybe Twilight is thinking they have some kind of connection with the turned to stone/banished to the moon past.
