I honestly can’t help but wonder if there’s some hidden meaning behind those numbers (like some subtle references the animators are making to something else), or if they’re just simply randomly generated four digit numbers and nothing more than that.

Well, that height also includes the ears.
Minus that (so, head/shell height), they clock in at roughly 10”/25,4cm.
Using that reference in a scene where they’re standing next to a pony (i.e. Hitch on the first ‘crime’ scene), I can roughly estimate Hitch is about twice that in shoulder height (usual measuring point for irl horses), so about 1’8”/~51cm;
and something around 3.5 times that in overall height, coming to ca. 2’11”/~89cm.
In conclusion:
‘My little Pony’is a very fitting description given that the smallest irl ponies are Shetland ponies with an average shoulder height of about 3’4”/~1m.@Background Pony #A061

I’m sure you’re not the only one, and since this image indicates these critters are almost 1 ft tall, that should make it rather easy to figure out the heights of those ponies.

Kind of weird these snails are almost as big as raccoons and rabbits, they are really huge.
They exceed in size even irl giant african snails.
