It’s a completely free Youtube series that uses a 2D art style specifically to save money and effort for the main 3D series that is coming. You really shouldn’t judge it so harshly.
At first I was surprised as well, but as I was thinking about it, I just realized that he already has several (mostly) retro gadgets and gaming consoles in his collection, thus he must be fairly familiar with tech stuff.
So I guess he adopted rather quickly to his phone too.
