Nice parody, but couldn’t Sonic also do that in “Sonic CD?” (I agree with Sibsy I kinda prefer the American soundtrack, though both it and the Euro/Japanese one were pretty good. I prefered the Japanese theme song “Toot Toot Sonic Warrior” over the American one “Sonic Boom” though.)

The comics are actually partially based on the old SatA.M. cartoon, the AoStH cartoon, (or at least the earlier issues did) and partially based off the games technically.
(Sense it has more game characters, and story-tie-ins then that show did. Like having the “badniks,” the “Sonic Spinball” issue, and such.)
Also, Sonic could back in the 90s in the comics(based off Sonic SatAM) half of the “zones” are other realities, and in Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and later games(The bad ones) he can time travel by some means(some devices in AoStH that opened the portal but his speed is the means to do it).
