By right, her new mane simply shows she has the power now. And that it apparently takes place after the movie.

Honestly, I didn’t like it, and wasn’t sure about how to portray it in G4 style anyway, so I decided to go with her previous version from the movie

To be fair plushies get exponentially more expensive to make for a corporation mass producing them, whereas fans can afford quality over quantity way more.
