Some background: In the New Vegas quest ‘Oh My Papa’ one of the ways to convince the Great Khan faction to break an alliance is either by a speech check, or finding a certain book that the Great Khans can use as a guide when their leader eventually passes on.
That book is titled “Pretty, Pretty Horsies: A History of The Mongol Empire.”
Make of that what you will.
Unfortunately this is not an image-mod for the game.

I once tried to play through the Caeser side of things and it was, well, just too evil. So instead of completing a mission to slaughter a bunch of towns (who I liked in every other play through), I went in and carved up their camp, wiped out NCR, killed house, and completed the game with no major parties still alive
And supposedly, there are “no right answers” in this sort of conflict. Just like Skyrim. Except the only downside to the government in command is usually that they’re kind of strict, boo fucking hoo.
I did likewise, but both times just gunned down the Mongols because I couldn’t convince them diplomatically.
When a game has evil sides where it’s a case of “become a tyrannical ruler and rule all indiscriminately” then I don’t mind a little power trip for a playthrough or two, but stuff like “join some sexist, racist society that might as well be modern nazis” then I don’t do the evil option at all.
