Maybe its the future. Look at Sprout's chin. That's an older Sprout. He's likely reformed. Besides, I can't see them keeping him fearful of the other tribes in the series. That's like beating a dead horse. I also can't see him disappearing in the series because I can't see Phyllis and Canterlogic just magically disappearing either. He will get reformed in the series.
Edit: I did notice Sprout was oddly colored like Big Mac and I also noticed Izzy is this curly maned unicorn. But now that I see them together like this its kind of funny.
