Being a Fluttercord shipper myself, I…don’t see that theory as holding much water. Izzy is very outgoing, as opposed to Fluttershy, who is very reserved. Not only that, but many people have pointed out that Hitch has more of Fluttershy’s traits, while Izzy here seems to have more of Pinkie Pie’s traits. Finally, her ‘pension for chaos’ more closely reflects Pinkie Pie rather than Discord. After all, in G4 Pinkie Pie was shown to be rather chaotic herself, and in the comics she actually gained Discord’s chaos abilities for a time. So no, Izzy is more likely to be related to Pinkie rather than Fluttershy or Discord.

Also, side note: wouldn’t a descendant of Discord be half-Draconequus? I don’t see one of Discord’s descendants looking like a pureblood unicorn as Izzy does here.

Given how.she is the most adorable and sweet baby of this group of losers, and in general a bringer of chaos and mayhem, I am fully committed to the notion that Izzy is the multi-great granddaughter of Fluttershy and Discord.

Pinkie Pie’s descendants likely found their way in too before Equestria totally balkanized.
