Possibly the perfect character arc for them would be something like they are both attracted to each other, but are too scared that it would ruin the friendship they have to act on thier feelings. So this romantic tension persitsts between them for a while before finally sonmething gives later on in the show, possibly even towards the end.

YES! But i hope they fall in love at the upcoming 44 minute special coming in spring and confess sometime in some episodes in the series. I already created they’re kids, and i ship them because they have so much chemistry and the way they look at eachother is like a soulmate looking at they’re love! Hitch is very protective of Sunny. And it is very possible for Sunny and Hitch to end up together!

It was because of this little thing that Sunny did that is the reason I ship Hunny. I’ve seen arguments for Hitch with the other three… But honestly, I see it most likely that he’d fall for Sunny. First, although he’s learned to see past all his predujuices, he was still brought up with them, and it would be likely that they’d still linger in the back of his mind. He’d have no problem being friends with the Pegasi and Unicorns, but I doubt he’d want a romantic relationship with them. And secondly, he grew up as friends with Sunny, and has known her for a long time. When we see Hitch, Sprout and Sunny as Foals, Hitch and Sunny already seem like close friends, and I think that after having such a close relationship for so long would have drawn them together.
