I wouldn't mind him being alive and lost in another land.
Once Sunny turned 18 and was ready to take care of herself, Sunny encouraged Argyle to complete his research on the Golden Age of Harmony. They both thought he would be back in a month. But for some reason he did not come back.
Sunny even at age 21 was not sure what happened to her dear old pa, but she promised to carry on her father's legacy. If he ever came back, she said to herself, he would be forever at peace.
