Rotten Tomatoes is not at all a trustworthy source. Nothing on that site should be taken at face value.
 
To be clear, I haven’t seen the new movie yet, and I don’t yet have any real feelings for or against it.

I guess I’m in the minority that thinks the 2017 movie was better.

Being objective and not biased towards any movie, THE 2017 one is kinda boring.. it has no rewatch
