The Last Painted pony by Bruce Stephen Foster
In the first draft he was even more cool and majestic looking like you’d expect from a dragon, but we decided to tone that down and keep him looking just a little dorky, as if he isn’t quite used to this massive chad body and is still a bit of a child inside.
That’s super sad. Is that from something in particular?
And I am the last painted Pony, though I was once quite a steed in my pride,
