Watch me swooce right in

Thank you, It’s been fun being able to put a lot of things I’ve learned from my smaller projects to good use in a bigger project.
As for the The year long break, it wasn’t due to lack of interest but more of a bad habit I’ve been trying to squash where I keep piling new projects on to myself when I come to an indecision or obstacle on a previous project instead of sitting down and working through it. I managed to beat that habit for the time being when I realized I needed much more wiggle room for my Halloween project. I also realized that doing this comic the way I originally intended is probably too big of a task for me right now and decided to scale it down and see how I feel when I complete what I currently have planned.
Besides telling a story I also want this to be a learning experience for me, among other things. I’m only two pages in and already I’m learning why I really need to temper my expectations and scale things down.

Hey, props for continuing this comic. I like the little blades of grass that you put on the lawns. It’s fun, the pacing is good, leaves with a cliffhanger panel.
I like how you’re pooling all your skills that you practice with your smaller cartoons to make something large like this. Just a note, though - and I don’t want to assume anything, but - if you took a year off because your heart really isn’t set on this, don’t feel that you have to push yourself to make this comic. It’s quality work, I’d be sorry to see it go, but you should only do this if you want to create this comic.
