I get it. Shining Armor is resident manager of an all-female dormitory. The mares keep beating him up even though they all have secret crushes on him. He learns lessons about life and love, and eventually discovers that the tsundere Princess Cadenza is the same pony as Cadence, the filly he made a promise to many years ago. After the plotline meanders for a while, they get married in Canterlot and find happiness.
