Actually, you’re kind of right. It’s actually a dress-up game. The reason why they look like K-on characters is because the game was made with K-on in mind. In fact, the default setting ARE the K-on characters (the main band, Yui’s sister, Yui’s classmate friend, Yui’s sister’s friend, and finally the teacher)
