Stunts? What, how do you expect them to tell a story without doing something new? 99% of the season was completely their idea and they probably were just told by Hasbro “make Twilight a princess and have her ride in a carriage” for the last one.
 
We got an Applejack episode, a Scootaloo episode, Rainbow Dash actually being a decent character, a Spike-only episode that was actually good, and a bunch of great songs.

I start to be really curious of what season 4 will be, but I’m a bit more afraid that princess Twilight will do something big that will end the show.
