Page 72: Sixth and last panel showed Tempest’s eye pupils turned lizard/dragon like after Rusty refuse to admit his mistake and would have kept his mouth shut which would later cause Tempest to go berserk almost acting like her old self prior to her reformation from the movie in page 73.
 
Page 74: In the fourth panel, Thistle while comforting but keeping Lullaby away from looking at Tempest and try to mend Lullaby’s recent wound but needs Tempest’s help, said in her thoughts that Tempest is almost going to a dark place where Thistle and Lullaby almost can’t reach her.
 
Page 77: After Rusty gleefully reminded Tempest that Lullaby is watching which she isn’t thanks to Thistle whose desperately trying to get Tempest to help her save Lullaby’s life, her eyes return to normal in the last panel of page 76, here on this page After Tempest terribly realize what she was doing, toss Rusty aside like a rag doll believing he is not worth it but hope he stay away from the trio as Tempest check to see if Lullaby was okay which Thistle needed Tempest to hold and comfort Lullaby while Thistle gets the stitches ready to fix her flesh wound.
 
Page 79: Tempest while talking to Thistle and comforting Lullaby in her arms after the little one’s recovery from her recent wound, did admit it was unfair and she had lost control.

Again Rusty was still the one who indirectly triggered something in Tempest, again after he refuse to admit his mistake and face justice and got Lullaby seriously hurt and that is the darkness in Tempest’s heart that almost clouded her thoughts and reasoning cause Tempest really almost lost herself by torturing herself as much as she’s torturing him, the very darkness prior to the Thunderstone possessing her is the one thing that Thistle pointed out.
 
Maybe dSana can carefully point that out to you herself if you kindly asked her if she has time to respond.

What, do you think it wasn’t her choice? She had no magic crystal whispering in her mind then. She wanted to torture Rusty, he didn’t make her do it, she wanted to do it. Just like Rusty’s brother. Why else do you think Dsana put that there, contrasting how Tempest was tearing out his feathers just like his bully brother?
 
Honestly, it diminishes Tempest as a character if you dismiss all of her bad choices. Whether causing Rye’s death or torturing Rust Wing when he was helpless. If you excuse all bad things she does or did away as not actually her own choices, you treat her like a little kid who doesn’t know any better.

Hey Rusty deserved to be grounded and it’s his fault Tempest went on her power trip when she first encounter him after he refuse to admit his mistake after he foalnapped Lullaby and hurt her.

Ironic too, it’s Tempest’s fault Rusty can’t fly them out of there. If she hadn’t been so into torturing him and mauling his wings, he could’ve picked up Lullaby and fly the both of them to safety. But Tempest was too much into her power trip.

No Tempest does not deserved this unreasonable hatred cause she was indirectly involved for what happen to Rusty’s uncle and she is still trying to atone for her mistakes to set things right and that is still no excuse for the trouble Rusty is causing problem to others for the sake of revenge.

He will possibly and reluctantly tell Lullaby to go hide somewhere safe but selfishly still refuse to let her return to Tempest and Thistle due to his unreasonable hatred against them.

Is he going to protect Lulu or will he use her as bait to safe his ass

I’m half glad that Rusty is about to pay the price for his actions but half worried about Lullaby whose still in serious trouble with both him an a Timberwolf but hopefully Tempest will come to her rescue after Tempest deals with her own issues soon.
