Thank you!
the case of his magic ability is that one of his parents is a unicorn and was born with a little to many magic genes, but doesn’t have the focus of a horn so he needs a wand to channel it. It took him a while to learn how to use it too. I hope that makes sense!

Sounds like his ability (which I think counts as a monster ability) goes far beyond my headcanon of Pegasus-specific abilities.
