If you hit the Tags button, just under Description:, you will see that you can edit what tags are on the item. So if a tag is missing, add it. If a tag is misused, remove it.
Yes, the mods can track if someone edits the tags list of lots of images.
Thanks for the tip. I was putting the uploader ids in “hidden tags” before, where they didn’t work. Now I will put them in “Complex Hide Filter”. Thanks again!
Yes, anonymous uploaders will still be a problem, but I appreciate anything that improves my feed.
Unless something has changed, I’ve been blocking named uploaders or editors for a while, and it works. Unfortunately we’re still screwed in the case of anonymous uploaders.
To do this, just edit your chosen filter, scroll down to Complex Hide Filter at the bottom, and make your changes. Make sure that your syntax is correct. Save your changes, then refresh your pages. Here are a few examples–names are fake until someone uses them. :P
(uploader:diaperpooedgelord99) OR (editor:lionkink69) OR (uploader_id:696969)
You can try blocking a named uploader with uploader:their-name.
To get an uploader ID (if needed), click the name of the uploader at the top of an image. If you block that name and for some reason it doesn’t work, then go back to the uploader’s profile and click Uploads (next to their avatar). “uploader_id:xxxxxx” will populate in the search area at the top of the page, or just below that on page 1 of the thumbnail contact sheet. Add them to your complex filter and Save.
Good luck!
