Description

This Took me about roughly 2 Hours. My Dragon OC with the Young Six engaging a fun RPG Boss Fight. And what better way than to introduce his new Rival. What’s his name though? That’s something I haven’t thought about yet.

One thing I made to challenge myself is to place Color Limitations used in Old Video Game Consoles.

Disc: I own nothing but my OCs. Lion Guards is by Disney, and MLP:FIM is by Hasbro.
Tools used: Aseprite, Paint.NET

Background Pony #35DE
so about the palette limitations, specifically what you would have found in the NES version of final fantasy: it’s three colors and a transparency per sprite. which is why the black parts of sprites light up when you use magic – they’re actually clear, and the background is changing color.

not that i’m complaining, this is pretty cool. making mlp sprites out of ff1 assets is something i would do. i wonder if you’ve ever played around with ffhackster.
