How much did Discord change during the thousend years he was in stone? Why did he still do all those horrible things after he was so graciously given a second chance? Those three weren’t given the same kind of second chance and help Discord got. Also, they were already punished, in Tirek and Cozy’s case far more severely then neccesary, but Discord descided to give them false hope, manipulated and threatened them and in the end, made it even worse for them.
 
It was a monsterous act and if those three can’t be forgived then neither can he.

How do you know that Fluttershy would die or that they would just let them wonder off? How do you know that they won’t eventually reform making Fluttershy even more happpy? If it worked with Discord then it would surely work with them.
