Maybe not just a room, a whole kingdom of them. I like to headcanon sphinxes are a full on species and not just one mythical creature. If we can have a village of kirins I’m pretty sure we can have the same with sphinxes.

I can see it now, a whole room full of sphinxes of all sizes with our favorite Sphinxy getting first dibs on pets and petting ;)
