I’d buy that for a dollar, or $4.99. It’ll never happen though.

Y’know, Ian Flynn has written a few MLP comics focusing on the student six that were pretty good. His official Sonic & Megaman comic crossovers were pretty epic too.

Ironically, many bronies are Sonic fans, so the so-called “fandom rivalry” is kinda exaggerated, and died down recently.
I find the comics I see with MLP/Sonic crossovers are incredibly cringey, and you just know a crossover would go there… Pit all the similar characters against each other for the sold reason they have similarities. It’s tired and never good.
The Sonic comics are good though lmited from being great. The pony comics have been great until you get the lazy writer/artist and then it stands out like a sore thumb. The pony comics are already noncanon.
I am a fan of both. Me and a lot of SOnic fans migrating from there to here. Essentialyl leaving th Sonic fandom for what it was at the time. Everything we had there was just a worse version of what Bronies got going on!
And while I find myself falling back into the Sonic fandom, and knowing how good the comics are. I must say: Please no. There’s nothing they could do in a crossover that hasn’t already been done in a fan comic. It’s just not needed.

People are quite aware, but I think the general reaction to a actual crossover, canon or non-canon, is a genuine no from multiple people. I am even hesitant on this idea, because it has be at least done right.
I do not see anything wrong with that as long as it is the Sonic IDW universe that is involved, Flynn despite his tendency for friends who betray each other, is a skilled writer. It will be interesting as many ponder how Sonic and Rainbow will relate to each other as the fastest creatures. IDW has other “universes”.
As a European, I would love to see Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck meet the Mane 6, Disney Comics in Europe - Italy - is very well known for non-canon, light crossover, copying novels, movies and more as alternative OC even though Don Rosa ( from US) has raised “universal laws” which are loyally followed in Europe. There are hundreds of thousands of comic stories that exist - all the way back to the 1950s. IDW has only released less than 0.5% of this so far. Do not know if the European Disney will allow this, as MLP is poorly known in the Europe. But then the European Disney is poorly known to the Americans.
The changelings have their counterpart in the evronians who feed on emotional energy. Donald and Mickey have many enemies, alternate identities, friends and adventures - currently these are often involved in adventures that would not be uncommon in Ponyville, with a lot of crazyness. Discord would love the European Disney. Like any self-respecting universe, Disney has a villainous boss at the top, who ironically carried the face of the very founder, Walt Disney - Phantom Blot.
@DashingJack
Funny, but still, the two fandoms are just not fond of one another and the Sonic Fandom itself is pretty splintered. Also, we don’t need to go over the headache inducing drama of the MLP Comics.
Um, that could work but with how this fandom views the MLP Comics, especially the Season Ten Comics. As for IDW Sonic, whoo boy! There’s the debate over the Sega Mandates, how certain characters are written (i.e., Shadow) and certain fans wanting Udon to write the Sonic Comics.
