That’s actually what I liked about that episode so much, is there really wasn’t a “bad guy”. Everyone involved had such an equal stake in causing the chain of events that no one character could be considered responsible for any of it; if anyone had acted differently nothing would have happened :P

He was quite respectful after Twilight apologised for lashing out at him. After Twi invited him along and gave him an ice cream, he said her family was kind to include him and was going to leave her be to have some private time with her family. He even tried to stand up to Iron Will on her behalf (it didn’t work so well, but the thought was there. :P )

I actually can’t help but see him as not all that different than Twilight to be honest. Sure he acted like a tool when he was nervous, but it’s not like Twilight doesn’t do that either :P

Thing is, he’s just an average awkward teenager type o’ boy who may or may not be an aspie, and it’s unfair people seem to dislike him just for being awkward and annoying Twilight just a little bit. Twi acted out (albeit understandably enough, given her frustration at not being able to spend enough time with her parents), and it’s not like she’s some delicate little flower. Star again, on the other hand…

Only reason I can think of is because he rarely has a neutral expression in the show, and more often than not has exaggerated weird faces, which I would assume was done to highlight his awkwardness and how much he was annoying Twilight. I used a very relaxed pose and gave him a very neutral and calm expression, showed him from the front to give him a rounder face, and followed the Rule of Thirds when framing him :P
