So she should be dead? What is wrong with you people? Besides, that isn’t even true; she never learned friendship, just like how Starlight Glimmer decided to escape when Twilight first gave her a chance in The Cutie Map, or how Sunset Shimmer was Celestia’s personal pupil for years and still stole the Element of Magic. The School of Friendship failed in that it reinforced Cozy’s belief that friendship is a tool for power because, as the old saying goes, you can’t learn friendship from a book. Twilight even apologized for failing to make Cozy understand that.
Something in all there hearts made them want to be good over cozy who continued to be evil after learning friendship.
Guess we’ll never know because they murdered her before she could speak, which is by the way would classify as a war crime here on Earth because she was unarmed. But since I believe in friendship, I affirm that if she was down on the ground, and Twilight and her friends had helped her, she would, over time, have been capable of redemption. At least, that had been the case for Starlight Glimmer. And Tempest Shadow. And Stygian. And Sunset Shimmer. The thought that these ponies deserved mercy but a child does not makes me sick. None of them showed even a semblance of sympathy until the last moment where Twilight finally managed to make them see. Without that, Starlight would still be a brainwashing communist, Tempest would still be a warlord, Stygian would still be an all-consuming force of darkness, and Sunset Shimmer would have become a world-conquering tyrant.
She was only scared and regretful because she knew that she had been defeated. Do you actually believe that if everything had gone as they had planned and she won she would have regretted winning? Do you think she would have had a change of heart and not tortured and enslaved all of ponykind after defeating the heroes of Equestria? That maybe several hundred years into their cooperative reign of terror, Cozy would come to the realization that holding tyrannical dominion over the entire planet was not a nice thing to do and change her ways? Not once during the whole ordeal did she think, “Huh. This is a horribly evil thing to do. Maybe I should have nothing to do with this.” The only thing she regretted was losing.
Irrelevant. She is a child, and they murdered her in cold blood; and the expression on her face screamed fear and regret. She was defenseless, the very least they could have kept her jailed (which she never would have escaped without Discord anyway). If the ponies had lived by your depraved morality back in Season 5, Starlight Glimmer would have been killed by Twilight for brainwashing and stealing the identities of a townfull of ponies, attempted murder on at least two occasions, and literally attempting to tear apart the fabric of reality. So why did the adult mare who was upset her childhood friend left her get off scot free while the filly whose backstory we don’t even know get to enjoy being put to death without trial?
inb4 “Because Starlight showed remorse” That was only after Twilight had already gone out of her way not to jump to conclusions. If she treated Starlight like the Princesses treated Cozy Glow, her body would have been cold too, and you would have defended her crime just the same.

Well attempted to murder the princesses, the mane 5 and spike these latter i believe at least 3 times, she didn’t care she could have killed the students who fell outta the sky without magic, planned on locking the mane 6 and spike in Tartarus forever. All these beings showed her nothing but kindness and treated her like a friend, she spent so much time with them and yet she never ever feels bad about betraying any of them for power not even a little.

I believe she is saying that there will always be evil in the world and that there will always be someone to stop it.
