Right, hasbro should go less on toy pushing or let the writters decide the show direction and create their toys according to it. The show in itself is probably profitable with dvd sale and t.v. channel contract, they should focus on what they can get from it as a media.

I want to believe that the writers are going to turn all this anger around and show us something great next season, but that’s not going to happen if Hasbro is unwilling to co-operate when the writers want to listen to the fans.
 
I worry that Hasbro wants to play it safe with a more traditionally “frilly” direction and use the show to push more toys more heavily. If the show had been that way from the start, it would not have the fandom it does. If next season is going to be all about princess shit with lots of new characters no-one likes, no believable conflicts between characters, and no high-stakes action, then we might as well call everything from S03E13 onward G4.5.
