“Meme” might be the wrong word, but I’ve seen a few webcomics like that where they apply modern-day values to ancient times. Like, one of the Feeding of the Multitude where Jesus is offering the people bread and fish, and one guy’s like “Is that gluten free?” and another’s like “The fish doesn’t contain mercury right?” and a third is like “I’m a vegan.” They’re probably not trying to make much of a point beyond making a joke out of how much our values have changed XD

Though, it’s probably not fair to judge the ponies by our standards. They live in a very different and much harsher world than we do. It’s like, you ever see that meme where like ancient China is building the wall to keep the Huns out, and people are protesting it saying it’s “anti-immigration and offensive?” XD

Then I definitely haven’t seen her. I missed a lot of movies from that era, and like all the tv show spinoffs. I think the only one I watched was the Aladdin tv series, and only like a few episodes :P

All dogs go to heaven got 3 movies and a tv series which got 3 season. The show only got 39 episodes and belladonna only showed up 5 times 4 in the show and was the main villain in the all dogs Christmas carol movie. I really wish more people draw her and her cousin Annabelle they don’t have a lot of fanart.i hope diamondstorm draws them some year

I honestly don’t know. There’s basically no way to resolve the whole “caged prisoners in Tartarus” thing without portraying the ponies as seriously and irredeemably bad people. If the prisoners do age, then they’re left in small cages to slowly die of exposure, thirst, and starvation, and if they’re “magically kept alive” and don’t age, then they’re left in small cages for all eternity and kept from even dying their natural biological death. Either way is pretty darned cruel of the ponies, considering they have about a million other more permanent or humane ways of dealing with threats, so I just sort of took the whole cage thing for granted and didn’t think about it beyond that. I guess you could say they’re there awaiting trial, but Tirek’s been there for like several thousand years; Equestria deals with a lot of monsters, but their “court” system can’t be THAT bogged down XD

For me, purgatory is the level of Tartarus we saw in the show. Characters are stuck there in cages, but they’re not being tortured or anything either. They’re just sort of stuck in a gloomy cave, and the only reason they’re even in cages is the ponies decided to use it as a prison much to the chagrin of the creatures that actually live there natively XD

Since Christianity doesn’t exist there and the closest thing they seem to have to a religion is how they worship friendship and harmony, I more or less just treat them interchangeably here. I’m playing pretty fast and loose with the whole concept of the underworld anyways, since I’ve depicted the Circle of Lust as a dark but largely civilized area ran by demon capitalists and pervy succubi who are really only “evil” in the sense that they’re completely self-serving and really don’t care if they cause harm to the overworld :D

Only the second. Just one below purgatory, the circle of Lust, where succubi come from and it’s why she and her species are all flirty and really not THAT evil, but rather just demon capitalists XD
