Good point. Canon Celestia invaded her privacy every moment of her life. That means she could have helped her in moments like Lesson Zero and It’s About Time.
Well, hell, even canon Celestia recorded EVERY SINGLE MOMENT OF HER LIFE since she became her student.
If that isn’t A-level jerkass invasion of privacy, its effing creepy.
And the Celestia is omniscient excuse doesn’t work. We know from the S2 finale that Celestia is NOT omniscient…which means she had a constant observation spell on her THE ENTIRE TIME.
A mild version of Molestia is closest to my headcanon.
As for the immortality thing, heck if I know. I know Cadense is mortal since she is just a niece like Blueblood, but only females become alicorns because Princess=Alicorn before S3.
Becoming a immortal with the elements of Harmony….eeeeek….I’m afraid to say considering Twilight’s predictable name for taking over for her master, and that’s been retconned to a mere 4th princess title, she could still be immortal.

same on my headcannon, only alicorns that birth as alicorn have eternal life otherwise its just a pseudo-alicorn…but the earlier the transformation the long he/she ll live
Celestia’s real reason for making Twilight an alicorn is because she’s the only pony Celestia could get close to in a long time and she didn’t want to have to say goodbye.
