I can make a couple of educated guesses;
  1. the post is really old and Rarity did have several focus episodes afterwards, and
  2. none of them are getting focus episodes because the show has ended.

Actually, while I enjoyed Rarity’s moments this season, that doesn’t mean she didn’t need an episode. Everypony got good moments like Rarity, it’s just that Rarity’s personality makes them all memorable.

While I don’t normally like these background pony jokes when it comes to Applejack and Rarity, I still find it a bit satisfying thinking that some people who loved to call Applejack a background pony, are now getting all butthurt when people do the same to Rarity. Especially when there is much more reason to call Rarity a background pony than Applejack.
