Personality/Bio:
 
Since he was little, Jonagold has been passionate about the “easy” magic of unicorns. He develops a strange fascination and wants to learn everything about the royalty of this race. The other creatures do not interest him, even disgust him ! During his four years, Jonagold will meet the twins Jelalousy and Dripe, which are invisible to the other ponies. He will appreciate the company of these two friends, who will push him to let out his anger and jealousy.
 
During the separation of his mothers, Jonagold will leave for Canterlot with Twilight, in the idea to rub shoulders with the noble unicorns. Only he is badly seen by these, who sees no further than his race. He will attend classes at the castle, with the best teachers, and spent his time in the various sections of the royal library. His jealousy grew with him, especially after his meeting with Princess Spessartite, his mother’s student. He sees in it a solution to become a unicorn, or even better, an alicorne, and finally to reach the throne, which according to him, belongs to him by right. Unfortunately, Spessartite is very uncomfortable with him, and prefers to spend her time with Prince Beetles, which annoys Jonagold even more.
 
Even at the age of twenty, Jonagold will have no cutie mak, so blind by his desire to obtain the throne and magic, he will miss his true destiny and his true talent. After a long argument with his mother, Jonagold will leave the castle and thanks to a black magic book, he will bring his own castle and prepare his return with his only two friends, Jelalousy and Dipe.

Twilight has always been his favorite parent ! She was initially touched, but over the years, she came to understand that only her status and magic were appreciated by her son. She always defended him, thinking that he was just upset, but she noticed later that it was much worse than she could imagine. She will try to make him listen to reason, but will worsen the situation, forever losing contact with him.
 
With his mother Applejack, the relationship was always tense. She preferred Lustre and did not hide the disappointments that Jonagold gave him. She had always thought, seeing his hooves, that he would become strong and robust, that he would work on the farm. When he left with Twilight, he never returned to Sweet Apple Acres.
 
The relationship with his sister, Lustre Elstar, is rather strange, when he was little, he liked the little magic that she did, but he grew weary of it very quickly, when he noticed other unicorns much more gifted.
 
Jonagold has always loved the Sparkle family, all gifted in magic! Only, these only talk about Lustre and Flurry Heart. After all, the young stallion is only a terrestrial and is not really a center of interest for this family side. Moreover, having still no cutie mark, while the Sparkle have always had their own very early, disturbs the family and disappoints them enormously.
 
As for the Apple family, his uncle Big Mac tried to show him the ropes, but soon noticed that he was not interested in the farm. Jonagold was bored with his great-grandmother, Granny Smith, whose long stories he hates and dislikes the company of his cousin Berry Apple Pie, who is only a earth pony.
 
His relationship with Jelalousy and Dripe is very close. They support him in all his choices and push him to surpass himself. Jonagold has developed some feelings for Dripe, but does not dare to tell him, for fear of offending Jelalousy. For him, they are very real and he does not understand why he is the only one to see them.
