Last time I went forward in time with Scootaloo. This time I went back in time instead.
 
I had a single line in my head when I came up with this.  
“We know her as Granny Smith. All he knew was that she had found his lost hat”
 
Also I have always wondered about AJ’s hat.. It must have a story.. Maybe it belonged to her granddad?
 
You might also wonder why she has no cutiemark. The reason for this is that I imagined this as the first time she had set hoof on Sweet Apple Acres, so she has no idea this is where she “really” belong.
 
I’m not great with stories so your imagination will have to do the rest.
