Petal’s cool dad. He’s always tired lmaoo.
 
He’s a simple stallion. Raised on an agave farm with his mom, dad, 5 brothers and 3 sisters. He be youngest sibling.  
Imagine the struggle with all those siblings. Great suffering.  
As a teen Slice set off for a change in scenery while not entirely sure what he would do or where he would end up at but he was happy to leave the farm.  
Slice ended up in Cloudsdale first. While with his fellow Pegasi he didn’t feel welcome probably because he wasn’t a competitive Pegasus like all the others. He was more to himself and laid back. So after a few months there he realized it wasn’t for him and left to Canterlot.  
Canterlot was much more laid back and cool and that was just his style. He found out he had family there a aunt who gladly let him bunk in her house till he got a job.  
He worked as a waiter for some time in Canterlot but he didn’t enjoy it but Slice loved watching the kitchen work.  
This restaurant is where he earns his cutie mark.
 
Yeah he gets his cutie mark as a teenager! Piss off it happens to the best of us. XDD
 
He’s been working there ever since. After some time he gets vacation time for being such a good worker. Since so much time has passed he’s grown up and his third sister left home and now lives in Ponyville where she invites him to stay over and catch up. This is where he meets Velvet String and her daughter Star Light.  
He don’t mind the kiddo he loves them both. They marry and have a daughter of their own and yeah they grow apart after some time but he still cares deeply for Velvet String. She meant everything to him and in a way still does.  
He spoils his daughter that’s for sure, he knows his absence from her life affected her more than he expected and he feels so guilty that he left her without explanation but she doesn’t care about it she just wants to spend time with her dad.
