Hilarious in Hindsight - Sunset Shimmer turned out to be a villain, rather cruel with unresolved jealousy & pride issues.
BUT… in Rainbow Rocks, we learned this is what she’s actually like without the chip on her shoulder - Doubly Hilarious.

Anything’s possible, but it seems like she’s trying to find her place in the human world, so I doubt she’ll be returning to Equestria this movie.
