Rainbowshine is Rainbow Dash’s mom and Firefly obviously IS NOT. Rainbow Blaze is her dad, as we all know.

Well the dad is fine. Keep the mom unseen to keep fandoms going or at least a modified Firefly, like they did with Twilight’s mom, and I’ll settle. Character design legal crap dunno. Parent/Father/Mother day special for season 4? I would like to see that.

They don’t even have to call her Firefly though, because Rainbow Dash would just refer to her as “mom.” I am pretty sure the character design is not in dispute.

I think the rainbow mane works. Like father, like daughter. It’s not a long flashback, so it’s used to show that they are related rather quickly.
