I wanted to explore Rainbow’s and Chrysalis relationship more, since (for me) it’s one of the most unusual pairing of the AU…also i love drawing Chrysalis aaa
 
Another day, another shift keeping the Garden (fav.me/ddtofab) safe. These months haven’t been easy, especially for AJ and Rainbow, they saw each other every once in a while, but their works kept them very busy. Rainbow was a soldier now, another one for this new hive on the Everfree Forest, why did they even needed so much of them?. She recognized the ponies at the garden, now their only purpose was to look pretty and feed their love to Chrysalis, they were never treated badly…but never going out wasn’t the best way of living. It was around this time that Chrysalis would appear and stay inside the Garden for hours, and there she was.
 
“Greetings soldier Dash, anything to report?” Everybody had a place in the hive, nothing ever going in the opposite way, Chrysalis never referring to anyone by name, only by their duty, but Rainbow was different, both because of the circumstances that placed her here, and because she wasn’t a changeling.
 
“No, my queen” “Excellent, in these months you haven’t failed me once Dash, i like that, sometimes you perform better than my own soldiers” Rainbow darted her eyes towards the queen, she must admit that when she didn’t looked all sick with those holes in her skin, she looked imposing, like a true ruler…even beautiful you could say. She felt herself blush.
 
“Oh, what is this?” she placed a hoof under her soldier’s jaw “What a nice shade of pink, what could be the cause of this?” “Just the heat, my queen”  
“Dash, i’m a changeling, i can feel strong emotions, what do you feel for me hm? Perhaps it’s admiration…or attraction? maybe you could tell me later, my flowers are waiting” “Y-yes, my queen”
